Acquisition of La Petite Academy

St. Catherine's studentsACQUISITION OF LA PETITE ACADEMY

For more than 25 years, St. Catherine of Siena School has played an important role in the life of our parish educating the youth of our community intellectually and physically, shaping their moral values in an atmosphere of trust, respect for others and academic discipline. St. Catherine of Siena School imparts to its more than 300 students a life-long understanding and appreciation of our Catholic faith, developing community and parish leaders of tomorrow.

In lieu of construction of a stand-alone building, our parish development plan encompassed acquisition of the La Petite Academy, recently acquired for $975,000 to accommodate several planned school-based program initiatives. The 6,000 square foot building, is on a one-acre parcel, with an open-floor plan, fenced play areas and off-street parking, An additional $100,000 has been allocated for facility improvements and furnishings.

Importantly, the new center will also be made available for parish meetings and activities to accommodate our many parish groups and ministries requiring space for evening meetings and events.
