QUESTIONS OF THE WEEK

1. Have you had any experience that allows you to identify with the way the two disciples were feeling on the road to Emmaus?

2. Have you had a personal experience of the presence of a relative or friend who has died? What happened? Were you comforted?

3. Jesus is present to us in many ways, some of which we recognize and some of which we fail to recognize. In what ways do you experience the presence of the risen Christ?

You are welcome to share your answers at our Church Forum.

Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship:

A Call to Political Responsibility from the Catholic Bishops of the United States

Faithful Citizenship TheFaithful Citizenship is a web site developed by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to help encourage and inform Catholics of our political responsibility!

The purpose of the web site is to help Catholics form their consciences in accordance with God’s truth. The Faithful Citizenship recognize that the responsibility to make choices in political life rests with each individual in light of a properly formed conscience, and that participation goes well beyond casting a vote in a particular election.

We encourage you to please visit Faithful Citizenship for additional information and resources.
