Catholic Men’s Fellowship
"Where a lone man may be overcome, two together can resist. A three-ply cord is not easily broken."
- Ecclesiastes 4:12
About CMF
In the early 1990’s two lay groups of Catholic men had emerged in southern California, namely The Men of Promise in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and Catholic men Fellowships in the Diocese of Orange. In 1995 a task force headed by Bishop Driscoll, comprised of clergy and laymen was formed to study the feasibility of and support the development of one broader regional men’s ministry. The result was the merger of these two groups as Catholic Men’s Fellowship (“CMF”). CMF celebrated its 10th anniversary as a non-profit religious organization in 2005 and amended its name to Catholic Men’s Fellowship of California to better reflect the wider scope of its active presence and reach.Reasons to Join

The Seven Principles
1. Be a Man for JesusWe surrender ourselves to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We honor Him through the rich sacramental life of the Church and obedience to God's Word as revealed in Sacred Scripture and articulated by the living Tradition of the Church.
2. Be a Man for Others
We reach out, creating vital relationships with other men, recognizing the need for support and accountability in keeping our commitment to Christ and the Church.
3. Be a Man of Integrity
We strive daily to live out the moral demands of our Christian faith and the call to be men of integrity.
4. Be a Man of Forgiveness and Discipline
We strengthen our families and relationships through forgiveness and love as called for by the Scriptures.
5. Be a Man of Prayer and Responsibility
We encourage one another to be men of prayer. We pray daily for others. We give God praise and thanksgiving as we prayerfully seek to discern God’s will for our lives.
6. Be a Man of Humility and Love
We reach out beyond all racial, cultural and denominational barriers to men and women of all ages and walks of life, demonstrating the power of unity in Christ and the Church.
7. Be a Man on a Mission
We commit ourselves to changing the world by proclaiming the Gospel through a lifestyle and public witness that embodies Jesus; we build up “The Body of Christ".
